How to purchase

  1. View the available works above. By clicking on each of them you’ll be taken to a page with more information and an option to purchase. Each work has a range of images showing different views and close-ups. so you can gauge the size and details. There’s also information on dimensions, shipping, etc.

  2. When you’ve chosen your artwork, click on the ‘Buy’ button. If you’re purchasing more than one, go back to the relevant page and click on the ‘Buy’ button for the next painting you choose.

  3. Go through the checkout process. If you have any problem with the checkout process please email me and we can arrange a bank transfer instead of paying online.

  4. Once ordered, you can expect to receive your painting(s) within one week in the UK. It will take longer everywhere else depending where you live. If you need the painting urgently (ie, for a present) please get in touch and we can arrange something.

  5. I pack all my own paintings to ensure safe delivery to their new homes. I wrap the work in glassine paper then use recycled cardboard and thick cartridge paper, making sure the corners of the artwork are well protected.

  6. Please do not use a sharp knife when unwrapping the painting. Once unpacked you will find an invoice. Please keep this safe as it also acts as a certificate of authenticity. You’ll need to get your artwork framed to protect the paper and the surface of the painting. If you want to discuss framing options please email me. If you have any questions before buying you can message me on Instagram @juliedrakeartist or email me. I’m happy to chat 😊

  • You can email me here or you can DM me on Instagram at juliedrakeartist. I will be checking my emails and Instagram feed everyday during the week of the launch for this collection.

  • You'll receive your painting(s) within a week in the UK. It will take longer for other countries depending where you live. If you need your new painting(s) urgently please contact me by email.

  • You can make payment directly on the painting’s page. Credit or debit cards are accepted. If you would prefer to pay by bank transfer please email me. I’ll send you my bank details and reserve the painting(s) once payment has been made.

  • You will receive an invoice which also acts as a certificate of lawfulness, a care guide on how to look after your painting and a card which shows one of my paintings from the collection.

  • Yes, the artwork has my initials on the front in one of the bottom corners of the painting and it is also signed on the back and stamped. The details of the painting are also on the back. The back won’t be visible unless the mount is removed which is not recommended unless done by an experienced framer who deals with original artwork.

  • The artwork is not framed for three reasons:
The first reason is for ease of shipping and keeping down the cost of postage and packing for you.
The second reason is that this series is all on paper and the best way to frame works on paper is behind glass. If glass breaks in transit it will likely damage the painting.
The third reason is that framing is very often a personal choice and is determined by your taste and the decor in your home.
Having said all that, if you would like to have your painting framed please email me to discuss your options.

  • Instructions will come with the artwork on the best way to care for the painting and the best way to get it framed.

  • I do not accept refunds unless the painting has been damaged in transit and you can send me photographs of the damaged packaging before opening it.

  • Original artwork by a professional artist is always rising in price from year to year. The return on your investment by buying artwork will depend on the perceived reputation of the artist as time goes on. Most artists who keep on painting will have a growing demand for their work and therefore the value will increase.
The paintings in this collection have a week of a special offer of 10% off. So you will already have a 10% increase in the price of your painting from the beginning. The price will return to the normal price once the special offer is removed and will not be this price again.
